Successful multi-sensory dinner will now run until May 4

Ibiza’s famed multi-sensory dining pop-up Sublimotion has proved a huge success in Dubai. So much so that its original three-month residency at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira (which started in November) will now run until May 4.

The brainchild of Paco Roncero, chef and owner of two-Michelin-starred Paco Roncero Restaurante in Madrid, and creative director Eduardo Gonzales of Vega Factory, Sublimotion takes a table of 12 guests only through 10 courses, each one backed by the likes of theatrical shows and 360-degree imagery projected onto every surface, from the walls to the table, taking guests on a journey all the way from a sushi bar in Tokyo, to a Jazz Club in New York City.

There are two shows daily at 6.30pm and 9.30pm, priced at Dhs5,000 per seat.

Elsewhere at the hotel, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira welcomes Justin Andries in February, a clairsentient of 10 years’ experience who guides guests to explore deeper parts of the subconscious with the use of practical tools and intuitive techniques.

Working with chakras and guides, Justin acts as a mirror to unlock a guest’s full potential, while also offering insightful tips on how to renew energy and purpose.

Justin will be in residency for a week from 20-26 February 2022 and is available for private consultations and personalised treatment combinations. A 75-minute reading is priced at Dhs950.
