Helping citizens to fly home from the UAE, Etihad Airways has added additional destinations to its list of repatriation flights.
Since it began running a series of outbound flights from April 5, Etihad Airways has been working with the relevant UAE authorities to add further destinations to its approved flight plans to ensure that stranded guests could return to their home countries.
On April 12, the UAE airline announced that it would be adding a series of additional special passenger flights to those it is already operating.
Available flights that can be booked
The following repatriation flight destinations have been approved by the UAE Government and are available to book through Etihad Airways.
Following the suspension of flights in and out of the UAE, Etihad continues to work closely with authorities to get these types of operations in motion. The airline says that it aims is to increase the number of flights, subject to approval from other foreign governments.

Information before you fly
Check-in for your flight opens three hours before your scheduled departure time. Etihad has introduced a number of new procedures at the airport to ensure your health and safety, so give yourself enough time to get to the airport for your flight.
Temperature screening is in operation at the airport, and you will be asked to wait two metres apart from other guests at all queuing points.
On board, Etihad will be making sure that you are seated with as much space as possible between from other guests, and there will be limited food and drink services. This will help the airline to follow social distancing guidelines as closely as possible, and make sure you stay safe whilst you travel.
Etihad Airways is recommending that you wear a face mask whilst you travel and make sure to wash your hands thoroughly at regular intervals.
If your journey time to the airport coincides with curfew hours in the UAE, you will be required to present your booking confirmation or ticket if it is requested by officials.
