Phuket, Thailand, reopened for tourism this July, and now one of the island’s most luxurious hotel brands has launched a special family vacation package.

As vaccinated tourists flock to Thailand‘s largest island this summer, Anantara Phuket has a new family-friendly vacation package that ticks both the ‘luxury escape’ and ‘affordable family vacation’ box.

The Ultimate Family Vacation Package will be applicable across Anantara’s two locations on the island, Anantara Mai Khao and Anantara Layan, with prices starting from USD245 (equivalent to roughly AED900) per night.

Families can enjoy breakfast, access to Anantara Vacation Club’s water park, and a selection of fun kids activities to take part in alongside their luxurious accommodation. To keep down costs once guests arrive, the package will also grant hotel stayers an extra 25 per cent discount on spa treatments, selected dining, and non-motorised water sports. Early check-in and late check out is also included, alongside a host of completely free kids activities.

Both hotels, true to their brand name, offer a luxurious vacation experience, drawing inspiration from the local culture, heritage and natural beauty of the island.

While each destination boasts plenty of leisure facilities, restaurants and health and wellness programmes, Anantara Mai Khao has 83 pool villas centres around a tranquil lagoon. It’s only 5 minutes from Phuket International Airport and is set alongside a long stretch of golden beach fringed by lush national park. Anantara Layan, meanwhile, follows more on a traditional resort set-up, with rooms, suites, pool villas and residences.

Guests visiting Phuket will be free to roam the island upon arrival, with currently no quarantine measures for tourists in place.
